  My son and I took a tour as perspective parent and student earlier this week(Aug 10, 2014).
  
  We got the impression of a well organized Alternative public school, but after it was mentioned that our family was involved with Volunteer work with a very well known local non-profit organization, it was suggested that we try the public school system. Upon completion of the tour we were shuffled out of the building w/o being given any kind of paperwork for enrollment.
  
  I did not seem like any attention was put forth to figure out if this school was a good fit for my son or not. He wasn't even asked about the school he had previously attended or why he was interested in an Alternative high school in the first place.
  
  And again, we left the property w/o being given any kind of information or paperwork to view in detail, or to compare with the info obtained from other educational institutions in the area.
  
  I have heard very good things about NCS, but the interaction we had definitely does not live up to the hype.
